At first, this project was established in 1975 for army officers and their families. At first, it was called the “Civil & Defence Officers Cooperative Housing Society”. Then it was renamed the “Lahore Cantonment Co-Operative Housing Society (LCCHS)”. Also, this project gets proper registration with the Punjab government in March 1975. However, in 1999, it was converted to DHA via a Provincial Ordinance.
